PVD coated stainless steel square tube brings a durable colour to architectural metalwork without the flaking, fading and fingerprint problems of paint or powder coating. The tube is first polished to a mirror 8K or a fine hairline finish, cleaned in a multi stage ultrasonic line, then loaded into a vacuum chamber where titanium or zirconium targets are evaporated in a reactive nitrogen atmosphere.
