Product Overview 6013-T6 round aluminum bar is a heat-treatable aluminum-magnesium-silicon-copper alloy engineered for welded aerospace structures that previously had to choose between weldability and strength. Compared with 6061-T6, the workhorse of the 6xxx family, 6013-T6 offers approximately 12% higher tensile strength together with better fracture toughness and fatigue performance, while retaining the forgiving welding characteristics of the 6xxx series.
